I don't agree with the reviewer. I saw the girls journey as touchingly symbolic. She, a young person of today only wanted to understand more, to search and connect with Anne in a way we cannot otherwise do after 75 years. It reveals in a deeper sense too, today's youth has not lost all of its morals, and humane understanding of life. Let us not overlook those lives of five other girls who survived. I applaud Helen Mirren's heartfelt production.
