Ned Devine, you dirty old man! I won't give away any spoilers but I will say that keeping a secret in the little Irish village of Tully More is near impossible, even if the townsfolk's intentions are seemingly good. It is a heart warming, humorous film with a few good twists and turns.
The film as it evolved immediately reminded me of the (1949) film Whiskey Galore! and the (2016) remake Whiskey Galore. Similar plots where the entire town is in cahoots to pull the wool over an authorities eyes.
Waking Ned Devine ends on a very happy note and that always make for a "FEEL GOOD" film.
I give it an impressive 7 out of 10 IMDB rating.
