Season 1, Episode 26
Great use of footage from "Taras Bulba"

Warning: Spoilers
One of the things I loved about this show was their being able to utilize stock footage from epic movies.

A cast of thousands of mounted horses from the 1962 motion picture "Taras Bulba" has the Ukrainian cossacks now as the Mongolian riders raiding Marco Polo's fort, originally a Polish city Yule Brenner led an invasion on.

And near the end, Doug and Tony are seen among MP's soldiers wearing the same blue armor as the Polish army emerging what now serves as MP's fortress.

CGI effects are no match for live action IMHO and they did a beautiful job of blending those epic movie shots into this TV show.

But awesome as these inserts are, "Taras Bulba", which was filmed in Argentina, is a definite must see in it's full wide screen glory. Check it out for a thrilling ride!
