Is it pointless - maybe
Is it silly - yes
Is it obviously a bit staged- yeah
Is it going to get awards - probably not
Who cares?
This is supposed to be something to make you laugh and if you quit saying "it's reality but is staged" and get over yourself then maybe you would be a little happier.
Now, I am not a big fan of some of the guests, but I also got over it and watched anyway. Antony Anderson, you lucky I like Bert because I sure don't like you after your Emmy stunt. I was not a fan of the aggressive behavior of Ms. Pat towards Kaley. She was trying to get to know you and all you could do was blow her off, this is why it is hard for people. I would be scared of you too acting that way. I was really glad to see a glimpse of a serious side of Bert on some occasions, they touched on some serious topics.
