Still not as good as the first 2 but definitely better than the 3rd. This became a far better origin story than the third one was. This was an origin story for Elise while number 3 was a weak origin of her little posse. This is why you don't let head writers be first time directors either. They simply just can't separate what they wrote to what works in film. Sometimes it's just simply better to have someone else's eyes leading the way.
I don't know if a 5th movie will be made seeing Elise died in the first film with the 3rd and 4th being prequels but they did seem to leave it open in a way at the end of the 2nd film and they added another family medium that has the same powers as Elise. Who knows.
