Review of Open Grave

Clearly my favorite movie! Everything is there: great actors (especially Sharlto Copley who plays Jonah Cooke as well as Erin Richards whom I love with all my heart), gripping plot, good and clever production, chilling atmosphere ... EVERYTHING in this film is good or even excellent! And damn it, the film has several really memorable scenes! There will be scenes that will make you want to cry (the death of the characters and especially that of Nathan with the heartbreaking reaction of Jonah, damn it, that excellent acting from Sharlto Copley!), some really disturbing and/or scary scenes (the opening scene of the film which is clearly my favorite scene of the film but which still traumatizes me, Lukas' sexual assaults on Brown Eyes ...). It's something that will mark you in this film: the atmosphere of the film, which will oppress you, the fact of being afraid for the fate of the characters, of jumping at each strong moment ... You NEED to see this movie, it's a must-see!
