I don't get the high praises for this movie. It started off well, making viewers believe that the haunting is in a house few doors down the street from where the protagonist live with his family. Only that that was a distraction from something totally that did not make much sense. This particular house then was just left out of the story loop without any explanation as to what it was, and the focus was shifted to the house next door. The most absurd part of all this was when the protagonist went into the haunted house next door, already aware that it is being haunted, with a hand-gun. A hand-gun to fight off ghosts? WTH? Stupid seen it already premise. They tried something new, but things were mostly like a very badly done patchwork. Skip it!
