Warning: Spoilers
SPAWN OF THE SLITHIS is a typical man-in-a-suit monster flick, as low budget as they come but with a handful of fun, cheesy monster attack sequences which feel like they're from an updated CREATURE WITH THE BLACK LAGOON. Unfortunately, the film stalls whenever the creature isn't around - which is for the majority of the running time - with a talky minor-conspiracy storyline, and lacking the humour and drive of a studio flick like Dante's PIRANHA from the same era. Even Corman's HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP is a lot more fun and B-movie friendly than this slow-paced and insignificant effort.
