I wish the actors were given a better script. I love Marion Ross and Beth Broderick from watching tons of Gilmore Girls and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This movie is awkward like most of the reviews have mentioned. One of the scenes made me crazy - the market scene. They are shopping for juice, hot dogs, butter ect and the the items seem to be on a regular shelf, NO REFRIGERATION. Also I get that they are making "perfect" cookies but you DO NOT need a ruler and level! Why did they cut the top of the tree?!?! What the random is going on with this movie? Just when I thought it couldn't get any more awkward grandma says "He just didn't know to keep is head down with all of those bullets flying around" when talking about her late husband. The scene with Santa was kind of creepy. Don't get me started on the jazz/broom scene.....again...what the random is going on?!? Very strange Christmas movie...
