Funny French comedy about the differences of being poor or rich.
19 November 2020
It's been awhile since I watched La Vie Est Un Long Fleuve Tranquille (or Life Is A Long Quiet River) so I forgot most about it. For my second viewing after so many years I still enjoyed it, maybe a bit lesser than the first time but it was still good enough to entertain me. The humor is just about the difference of living and lifestyle between a well mannered religious family and a more rednecky I-don't-care-about-anything family. It's simple but it works. Good acting from the whole cast. Maybe not a classic from the French comedy genre but good enough to have a good time.
