A Perfect Christmas List (2014 TV Movie)
1/10
Did they watch this movie before releasing it?

Warning: Spoilers
The actors who they got for this movie (Beth Broderick, Richard Karn & Marion Ross) were good in this film. The rest of the movie ... It's not worth your time.

The only part of the storyline that was completed was the list that Evie made. Everything else kind of fell by the wayside. As another reviewer wrote, there were scenes where they had Sara and Michelle steal a Christmas tree, but never had any repercussions. The final scene you could see crew members in the background, see the fan they used to make the snow fall in numerous shots and the final shot of the movie, it was only snowing on one side of the shot. It would have been better if they talked in the movie that it didn't snow at their home at Christmas so they hired a company to come and make it snow on Christmas Day for the children. That would've given a reason for the crew members in the background and the fan. The background music was off putting at best. It was on throughout the entire movie with some 15 second breaks in some scenes where nothing was happening. It made it quite awkward when the characters delivered a joke and there is sentimental Christmas music playing behind it. It was a disservice to the movie. There were moments that could have been cut out of the final movie where it was a prolonged silences during a conversation. So I do ask, did the director, editors and anyone else in the production crew watch this movie all the way through before releasing this? I watched this on Netflix, so did anyone from Netflix watch this before putting it on their streaming service? Who watched this and thought, "This made sense. Let's release it."
