When you substract the incessant action scenes, the CGI and the quickly-thrown-in dialogs that have no permittance to linger, this movie leaves you with an empty stomach and an ADHD sickness. Don't look for anything scientific or any further ramifications from the gimick with the time inversion, it's just an unexplored idea to make the movie sound interesting.
