A different take on the Hitler history in World War II - strong performances by the lead actors and a straight plot line mixed with tragedy and humour make for an engaging film. Like the later movie JoJo rabbit the fuhrer depicts Hitler in a way that can make it sympathetic and humanize him. The Dilemma of Grunbaum and his family provides juxtaposition to be empathetic portrayal, the ending gives a gravitas to the story
