I couldn't help but be reminded of an overly dramatic, underacted version of Stoker. True, that was about an overprotective, unstable Uncle with a possessive (bordering on incestuous) obsession with his niece rather than a cousin but there was a similar feeling...except Deviant Love had the acting abilities and commitment of a Hallmark movie and the dialogue of a college film.
