Review of Unlocking Christmas

The thing I disliked most was the awful appearance of Steve. His hair hadn't been cut in months, yet he had been a veteran? He looked scruffy and unsuitable for his gorgeous lead. Air Force? Don't think so. He enunciated airman as air man, took a sip of his cider from the standard empty cup and when he brought the cup down his mouth was open. Just a little thing but funny to see. They were not suited for each other in this movie, although the acting was fine. It wasn't believable that they fell in love in a week with little romance anywhere. Then they both miraculously get their dream jobs (no one is turned down in this scenario) and as always happens, they turn them down to stay in the small town with someone they barely know. (Later when they have their first argument they'll both wish they took the job! Resentment will take over and they'll split up.) And the usual Hallmark misunderstanding trope of hearing half a conversation and walking away upset was here. Really irritating when Hallmark does that.
