After the first 15 minutes This film "based on" Anne Tyler's novel bears almost no resemblance to the story she wrote. Maybe if you haven't read the book or any of her wonderful stories it won't matter, but to me it matters a lot. 2 thumbs down. On its own it may be an OK film. Sarandon is always terrific. But....
