But that would not have reflected the movie to a modern audience (a 6 probably doesn't do that either). I first saw this movie as a kid so the cheesy dodgy acting and effects washed right over my head as I expressed glee and shock as I watched (as a 10 year old) people getting fu*&ed up with really cool weapons :)
By the time the third movie was released I guess I was old enough to see more of the faults in that release.
However this film has a soft spot in my heart (as does the sequel) so whilst this review may not be the most accurate I am sharing my honest perspective.
This is when I became a Sho Kosugi fan.
I guess now its probably best watched as a bit of a late night lark with mates and a couple of beers.
