Since the title is a play on murder mysteries (murder she wrote, et al), this should've been a mystery. A christmas mystery would be a nice change up for the channel; didn't have to be murder. But no. When the meety cute happened, I didn't recognize it at first because he looked too old to be her romantic lead. The gay guys were annoying, mainly because hallmark wanted us to notice them so badly, especially Danica's friend before he met his new boyfriend, that dialogue became unnatural. The most unbelievable part was the blog that went viral. How to regain the heat of Christmas but nothing in it was new or revelatory and mostly involved doing something for yourself. Even the post to do something for someone else ended up with her throwing a party for her friends and followers - not exactly the helping the needy acts so common for the season. Is this what the Christmas spirit has been reduced to, even from hallmark? Only gave this 5 stars (instead of less) because you can only expect so much from hallmark movies nowadays but it's a generous 5.
