The mother's work life, her relationship with her husband and son; the son's academic life; the father also got slowly distant from his family unable to bring everyone to the table.
Toni Collette was phenomenal in her acting. The other actors also did their best as a family writhing yet adjusting with whatever's strange happening around them. The background score doesn't fail to impress.
