Real animal cruelty, don't watch
13 March 2021
I was never so disgusted with a movie, because there is real slaughtering of animals here and animals suffered in the making of this movie:

  • A chicken gets its head slowly cut off. I thought the chicken was dead before, but another person I was watching this movie with said that it was moving. Either way, it's sick and cruel. I have no appetite for meat anymore after seeing this.

  • A dead goat hanged upside down is disembowelled, close-up of the knife cutting the goat.

  • A snake is disembowelled, you see the guts.

  • You see dead horses lying around.

  • As typical in many Westerns, horses are falling, some brutally.

When I watch a movie I want to be entertained, not disgusted and traumatized by real-life violence against animals. Also, no animal should be killed or suffer for the making of a movie. The plot doesn't matter anymore at this point, I would give zero stars, but unfortunately I'm forced to give at least one.
