Not another video show commenting on fails! This show has three talented comedians, Ron Funches, Ali Kolbert and Brian Posehn who launches comments that are creative and hilarious. I usually don't like shows like this but I laugh every time I see an episode. From Ron's imitation of Morgan Freeman explaining the migration pattern of blowing air mattresses mixed with Brian's (who has been in the comedy business for a long time and really does have good comedic chops) surreal and strange one liners and infused these with the angst of a young female, especially dating, perspective by Ali Kolbert makes up some great individual ingredients. From this a recipe can be conceptualized that can create a fantastic dish. However, the meal isn't quite there. The morsels are good. The tidbits are nice but the full course is lacking continuity. This is why I can only give it a limp 8 but if they can work through the clunkyness of the secondary story line, which is totally needed, and smooth out the acting or at least if the comedians can show that they are comfortable being around each other or work off of each other a little more I think this show will be the best version of a comedic commentary video show ever.
Also, let the comedians loose!! I think people see the constraints on these talents and that hurts the show as well. They really should be left alone, work blue, be irreverent and let them be them. I think it will turn a weak 8 into a strong 10 once the 1st season quirks get worked out and then we will be left with a feast. I can not wait for season 2!!
