If you have never tried swallowing 20 baloney sandwiches in one sitting, then this film might pose quite a challenge to you. The convoluted spy drama does not appear to be one at the outset of the film, as we are led to believe the story was going to be a pleasant boy meets girl on the road movie (which, by the way, might have been more successful). However, we must keep to the script. I will not go into lurid detail of the spy complications, but believe me when I tell you, they do stretch the limits of one's believability. Ruth Roman and Sterling Hayden do a nice job together, but my favorite actor in this piece is Werner the nazi, I mean German spy. Werner made a good living being bad guys in nazi films. Fun to watch in this one as well.
