Review of Bishonen

Bishonen (1998)
8/10
Love drama in beautiful pictures
9 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The film's critics should have noticed that the film is not a romance film, but a romance drama. The last scene and the last sentence in particular make every viewer cry when they understand the protagonist Jet. The hope to finally be loved and also to be able to live and experience love are wishes of every person in the world, but they repeatedly collide with fears, family traditions and culture. Sometimes it goes well, but often it doesn't. When he read his letter, I couldn't stop crying. To be honest, I wanted the film to end differently.
