Ich Bin Dein Mensch(I'm Your Man) is a 2021 German- language sci fi drama starring Dan Stevens(Downton Abbey)and Maren Eggert and is based on a short story by Emma Braslausky. A scientist named Alma(Eggert) is assigned a humanoid named Tom(Stevens) who brings out the best of her. Will they won't they be together despite the fact Tom isn't entirely human?. Like the 1999 Sci Fi Bicentennial Man with Robin Williams and Embeth Davidz I did spot some similarities especially with the chemistry between Maren Eggert and Dan Stevens as they reminded me of Portia Charney and Andrew Martin (the whole love/hate relationship).
Dan Stevens was great in this film especially since this is his first foreign based film on his film resume. He was charming,romantic, makes lunch for Alma plus his a fantastic dancer. I've loved Dan Stevens since Night At The Museum 3 and Beauty And The Beast ,so I guess that's what drew me to this film I'm Your Man.
If you love Bicentennial Man,Artifical Intelligence then you'll like this film.
