I just so sick of every story of these SciFi movies being like exactly the same.
Some BS conspiracy theory, so terrible special effects, so cheap story line, some single scientists who knows everything about everything and the evil few in the government who are doing something terrible but at the end, it is the Americans (in this case the genuine scientist) who saves the world with one unbelievable action.
And of course, like every other US disaster movie, the characters always put family ahead of lives of humanity but someone else (in this case) takes care of the situation.
It was entertaining to watch since I have nothing else to do being home on long term sick leave and bored to death after have watched almost everything watchable on streaming channels. But don't waste your time unless you want to watch something that you already know the ending and happily ever after kind of last scene.
