I really appreciated seeing these stories through the character's experiences. It feels fresh and needed.
The cinematography was incredible. And beautiful scenery that backed up but did not distract from the unfolding storyline.
To be honest I felt very relaxed. The film had a calm tone despite the serious content. In my opinion that really worked in a way I don't think I've seen before. Showing the hope of freedom, not just the oppression of discrimination.
