The idea is a good one: German ex-pat needs to deliver missle secrets to a German scientist who fled to the United States. On the road she meets up with a handsome stranger. What could go wrong.
Sterling Hayden and Ruth Roman are pretty much in every scene in this low-budget "spy" "thriller" and they earn their paycheques. Their chemistry kept me watching.
However, this isn't a great movie. The plot gets so convoluted in the second half that my head started to hurt. The dialogue is dull. The action is nearly non-existent. And the director does absolutely nothing interesting with his camera or lighting.
