This film is pleasant & inoffensive, but also pretty trite & boring. I kept thinking it should be mandatory viewing for a typical film class, as in "how do we make this better?" The big setup twist is the Danny Glover character is having this all staged, and if you accept that premise, then your respect for our two lost lovers will kind of plummet. For being really stupid. I dunno, maybe you should see watch this with aging parents or something.
