I knew this was a B "man and woman on the run" noir. I believe this is Ruth Roman's third. She's good at it, but she doesn't play the usual gutsy, desperate cheap dame we love her for. The plot is a bit convoluted and e Carly who they are running from and why usnylt completely clear, but the leads are fun to watch. At this point in their careers, their stars were dimming, the booze was flowing and too many cigarettes had been puffed. It SHOWS.
