Triumphs over the 1992 version

Warning: Spoilers
Disney's Americanised version of the original Arabian nights tale was trivial, comical and frivolous that stripped this great story of its cultural and artistic decorum. This film changes that to the point were I think this should be the Aladdin animated film.

The animation and music is excellent with beautifully represented characters, the animators put all their talents in to making this masterpiece with excellent representation of the different characters, mature execution and dramatic value.

The original story and its Arabian origins are respected and maintained without stereotyping or anachronistic diluting for example instead of a western name for the princess i.e "Jasmine" her original name Badral-budr is used, though shortened to Badral for the simplicity of speech.

A masterpiece of animation that deserves popular acknowledgement but unfortunately is underrated.
