Disaster scenario we are looking at in this south korean action thriller dramedy, as the title says its about a sudden sink in the ground that swallows a 5 story building and much more, made on south korean premisses and wit, with all the cultural nodding, screaming and slapping thats so usual in their films.

Its not unusual building bad buildings on a rotten underground in south korea, also a history with motheating corruption and greed due to sky high prices for a living lot combined with a long geographical history of sinkholes, make this topic of events interesting.

Its the first sinkhole disaster movie ive noted, and the plots and drive of action mustve been inspired by the norwegian consepts of ''the wave' and ''quake'', there are so much that happens in a short time, that even the grumpy old man did his best to push and pull (on the sofa) to help the survivors. And there are also mediocre parts of compulsary korean rites that has to be there just to be accaimed as worth watching which may be daft and unusual to see outside east asia, and there are some inconsistencies that bends every physical laws of reality, and things you might shouldnt do I. C. E..

but its fun and scary, loads of mud and dirt , an amazing set of special effects that mustve been overwhelming in the cinema theater, so if you are in for the adrenaline have a look.

The cast is fairly well known faces from the korean tv-world, the acts is not outstanding in any way, but as a team it works. So whether or not, a sinkhole makes challenges for everyone, and remember your gps and cellphone doesnt work at 400 meters bsl, so you better be prepared and start climbing the rugged wall before YOU fall in...
