This drama is engineered for tears. Unfortunately that engineering is too obvious, with tragic back stories, a hospice setting and a faltering romance. As a result my feelings were not engaged as much as they might have been.
Nevertheless, there is sufficient of interest going on to keep you watching. And it is always a pleasure to watch Ha Ji-Won. We finished the series glad that we had watched it, but also aware that it could have been better.
