The slogan says "feel good". But it's not. Great to see some famous faces pop up but unfortunately the female lead has nothing to bounce off the male. He's got no charisma, charm or natural screen demeanour . It's very single note. But she does some very strange things eg. Stealing the car.
Maybe used to conventional Christmas movies. But this doesn't feel fresh or interesting. Just sort of grim and trying. Even some dry humour I usually enjoy doesn't elevate them. Either mock the genre or play with it. This straddles neither.
