Review of Cupid

Cupid (1997)
3/10
Poor showing

Warning: Spoilers
A very poor showing when it comes to the psycho thriller genre, the only thing CUPID has going for it is the presence of a couple of '80s genre stars who are looking fine for their age. Ashley Laurence, from HELLRAISER, is fine as the heroine of the hour, while Zach Galligan (GREMLINS) has always been a fun presence in cinema. Sadly, this is barrel-scraping stuff, with the story of an incestuous brother-sister relationship turning murderous failing to offer any thrills, excitement, or intrigue, just bad acting and cheesy direction.
