Encountered this series quite by chance. Great acting, good plot, and I'm a sucker for period pieces. I didn't even mind the not so happy ending, after all, it isn't Hollywood, right?
So why am I somewhat annoyed?
Why does a Jewish prototype have to be either an eternal victim/saint or a complete villain?? The Seder plate indicating her Jewish heritage, obviously, but- hmm...the last supper??? When will this end?
