Review of Part 25

Bloodline: Part 25 (2017)
Season 3, Episode 2
3/10
More of going nowhere
28 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
If the previous episode was a slow night move to nowhere, this adds up to the same. It takes place in what must be the longest night in TV shows and Kevin does more damage to himself and other, agreeing to go ahead with Roy Gilbert plan, while at the same time also asking John for help.

Gilbert's part in the plot turns the tale labyrinthine, with way too many twists to be believable. It was already far fetched to believe that the police would not close Danny's case when the guilty part was caught, as if police in Florida has time and resources to spare for personal vendettas.

Even stretching it and accepting the fact that Marco was doing his private investigation to hit back at Meg, it is way too much to imply that Lowry was also Gilbert's associate and that Gilbert is way more powerful than the audience would think.

John is still pretty much useless, Danny's ghost very annoying, just as Sally is, a character that changes her mind every five minutes. First she loves Danny, then she wants nothing to do with Nolan and his mum, but actually they can stay at the resort and maybe she used to care about Danny, but now that Kevin is hurt, John must find the guilty part, even if they both killed Danny... and so on...

And Meg is still drunk, a clear sign that the writers did not know what to do with her character anymore, unless she joins her killer brothers, since by now each of them has killed at least a man.
