Bio Slime (2010 Video)
2/10
Well, at least the writer and director tried...

The 2010 movie titled "Contagion" (aka "Bio-Slime") caught my attention given its rather macabre cover. And being a life-long horror fan, of course I had to sit down to watch this movie from writer and director John Lechago, even if I had never even heard about the movie before.

But I have to say, don't get your hopes up for "Contagion", because this is a low budget movie in every sense of the term. And director John Lechago was paying too much focus and attention on pointless nudity and sex scenes in the movie, and that just brought the movie down to a very sleazy level for me. I don't mind nudity or sex scenes, but it was just too much here in this 2010 movie.

The acting performances in "Contagion" were amateurish. I am not saying that they were necessarily bad, but you're not in for award-winning performances of memorable levels here. Some of the acting performances were fair, while others were sluggish and rigid.

Visually then "Contagion" was okay. But again, it was weighed down by the pointless and excessive nudity and focus on sex scenes.

If you enjoy horror movies, then there are far better choices out there. I didn't finish this movie, because it was just too painful to sit and suffer through, and I have zero intentions of returning to watch the rest.

My rating of "Contagion" lands on a two out of ten stars.
