Review of The Caller

. . . as it's extremely low budget, with a cast of two yakking aimlessly for 97 minutes. If the title of THE CALLER reflected the reality, we might have a label such as ACTION FILIBUSTER or NOTHING HAPPENS. Unfortunately, the releasing organization tries to bamboozle would-be viewers into believing that this is some sort of thriller along the lines of WHEN A STRANGER CALLS. Surely movie theaters everywhere were compelled to refund most if not all of the ticket sales when this initially came out and irate, ripped-off customers stormed the box office to retrieve their money. Tragically, Today's viewers sticking it out until the bitter end hoping against hope that something worthwhile will be revealed have no chance of being refunded their wasted time.
