This film is top-notch, if only as an excellent cultural artifact. The pop show filming used in the opener brings me right back to 1966. Ron Wood jerking around in a rather punk style, then the protagonist's drippy love song, all great stuff. After that we're transported to a 1960s upper-middle-class British nightmare. I can't believe they sent her for a restful vacation to a house of simmering malice. The writing and acting throughout are all quite good, and the movie imparts a definite rainy mood. I recommend.
