My memories of this movie are so much different than what I saw in a recent re-watching. I had thought this was a 'wacky romance' with a lot of comedy in it. It is pretty much a slice of life romance with a small bit of comedy in it. Not a bad film and both Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison are great in their roles. But the movie slows down in the middle, about the time that 'the ghost' disappears. The ending is a typical 'Hollywood' happy ending. Not a bad film if you know what to expect.
