I read the book then the day after watched the series.
Very much enjoyed the series as a standalone, but if you have read the book some of the simple details are badly missed - why does Kat play the guitar and have a Scottish accent? Why is Connie's wedding dress silver when it's black in the book? Why did they change the businessmen in the hotel who start the fight?
Douglas is much angrier, more aggressive, Alby less moody.
Seemed really odd that some of the simple details were changed for no reason.
Overall a great series but the details were annoying.
