No living soul should ever enter a cemetery unarmed . . .

Warning: Spoilers
. . . especially if they're on a grave-robbing excursion, HABEAS CORPUS reminds viewers. "Sometimes they bury people too soon" Stan informs his partner midway through this cautionary tale. In such a case, your best policy might be to shoot first, and shiver later. However, if you've thoughtlessly entered a churchyard without packing so much as a zip gun (as Stan has the temerity to do here), you'll have virtually no recourse against things that go "thump" in the night. The ghostly face of Death reincarnated might become the last thing you'll ever see. But should you be toting a military-style assault rifle and plenty of ammo, your Peacemaker can eventually bring quiet back to Shady Rest. So after enjoying this film, please remember to support your local chapter of BANGS: Broke Americans Need Gun Stamps.
