Anyone who has ever seen a Rom-Com could have written this movie. Everything about it is predictable, expected, etc. There are literally zero surprises in the movie. My wife and I could usually guess the next line before the actors spoke them because it was so predictable.
That said, if you like Jenifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and "Notting Hill" you will be entertained by this movie. It delivers exactly what you'd expect, hitting all of the usual high and low notes, including the wacky best friend and the cute kids.
Frankly, "Notting Hill" is a far superior version of the same story, so, go watch that. But, there really isn't anything objectionable when it comes to "Marry Me."
