My first impression is that this story is about a happy life with a family because the father walked the road with his daughter happily. However, more and more, this image changes. First, the father releases his daughter's hand and then he rides on a boat and rows it by himself. As a result, the father never sees his daughter. In the end, his daughter can finally see him, but the time is when his daughter is older. She never can forget him and visits the place where he disappeared at all ages and hopes to see him someday. I think this film director wants to tell us that it is important to interact with family when you can see them. In this story, the daughter could see her father after her death. I found this interpretation through discussion. To sum up, this story is difficult.
