Actually, this was Miriam Hopkins and Joel McCrea's very first film together, and it worked! The chemistry between these two is very good and its a fun story. Basically, filthy rich Miriam is sooo tired of guys chasing her for her money. In a neat switch, she takes her secretary's job, becomes a working gal, and snags young and handsome Joel McCrea. This is peppered with some terrific actors, notably Fay Wray (fresh from KING KONG!) and always stuffy Henry Stephenson, among others. This is from the Late, Late Show vault that we all grew up watching and its good to see it back in circulation! This may be on dvd, or sold without the case, but keep watch for its re-issue. Recommended fluff!
