Street Sharks (1994–1997)

Created after the also massively successful TMNT, Street Sharks tries to follow the same formula of anamorphic crime fighters, this time sharks with badass street tough attitudes. They fight bad guys, particularly the evil Dr. Piranoid, a half-man, piranha villain, they drive and fly cool vehicles, and most importantly, sell coool toys. There is no real overarching plot, new sharks and enemies are introduced over the course of the series, but nothing really matters and the plots are very expected for this style of show. The characters all seem to accept that they're going to be grotesque muscular half-sharks for the rest of their lives willingly, the only thing they care about is beating up bad guys. And that's cool, that's all they were really needed for. Street Sharks!
