The settings were more than adequate for an Esther Williams progarmmer, it is very colourful, but with a dumb story, and the cheesy Howard Keel can't do much to make audiences miss the fabulous swimmer actress. Beautiful ballets in the water, beautiful songs, and the rest is forgettable at the most. Pure MGM Esther Williams vehicle. For nostalgia gem diggers. Worth watching though.
