A cyber hack takes out America
19 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Former NSA engineer Duke Evans (a solid and likeable performance by Ethan Flower) and his family must fight to survive in a small mountain town after a massive cyber attack causes America to completely fall apart.

Director/co-writer Jeffrey Travis relates the gripping story at a steady pace, maintains a grimly serious tone throughout, generates a good deal of tension, and presents a starkly chilling depiction of a world thrown into total chaos and disorder. The sturdy acting from the capable cast helps a lot: Asa Wallander as Duke's distraught wife Leslie, Jenn Gotzon as the perky Rachel, Eloy Mendez as helpful illegal immigrant Alonso, Hope Laubach as cute daughter Emma, William Knight as feisty old coot Albert Grimes, Dennis Delsing as ruthless fascist Sheriff Watson, and Scoot McNairy as slimy traitor Phil. A neat little movie.
