A pretty wholesome movie set in very tumultuous time. This had heart, soul and works as a reminder that sometimes what's needed is an odd couple partnering. When a gaggle of gays and lesbians come together with a pit full of miners in Wales you know it's for a worthy cause. This handles some very serious topics but overall the spirit of the film is a bright one.
