Review of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin

So the new Pretty Little liars contains elements from slasher movies and tv shows like scream and Halloween while keeping the main elements of pll in place. Sometimes the characters were hard to empathise because the conversations didn't even seem realistic (horror movie references every 4 minutes) and overall especially through it's finale it felt like watching a bad episode of Riverdale. The characters felt too safe to get us worried that they might die and the whole thing was rushed but kept it's formula simple without complicating the plot with holes like the original pll did. Hoping that season 2 will be an improvement overall because the concept is really good.
